At Gahn Studios, we will help you recognize how you are making decisions and offer training in your decision-making. Your success, confidence, and emotional support are our priorities. Therefore… First, your career counselor will meet 1-on-1 (live) in a private audio or video meeting and simply listen as you talk about your struggles/progress during your career journey—or as a brave first-timer! Next, your career counselor will help you: + Explore each layer of your past and present challenges and accomplishments; + Clarify unrealized connections between pieces of information you've gathered along your career journey; + Identify your strengths, weaknesses and interests; + Provide potential research options towards strong career possibilities and job openings; + Assess your current résumé/CV or digital portfolio. How Many Sessions Will I Need?— Great question! It really depends upon the individual. Most seasoned adults with active careers simply need 1-2 sessions. Others with less experience may require 2-3 sessions, in order to fully explore your path, resources, and possibly build a more complete portfolio/résumé/CV. However, at least 1-2 sessions are advisable. Portfolio and Résumé/CV Assessments— Great news! We specialize in assessing your résumé/CV documents—which is included in your session plan. If you desire a new résumé/CV or career portfolio, we are happy to create one for an additional discounted charge. Please see our Services page or inquire with your Counselor during your sessions.
